An alternative school youth support worker with Youth Unlimited™ YFC Comox Valley focuses primarily on volunteering in the local alternative school. They are an extra support to students and staff in the school, and have a heart to see students thrive mentally, physically, socially, spiritually and emotionally.
Education level: minimum Grade 12 and training/ education in social work or counselling is an asset
Skills and characteristics: strong interpersonal skills, servant hearted, problem solving, self-motivated, team player, flexible
